Earlier today, Apple, Inc. announced plans to support Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and industry-standard corporate security standards in their upcoming iPhone update. This update, which is expected sometime in June of this year, will add push email, push contacts, push calendar and global address list support to the iphone making it a true enterprise solution. Microsoft Exchange server 2003 and 2007 will be supported by the iPhone 2.0 software update.
Another great enterprise feature being added to the iPhone 2.0 update the ability to remote wipe a device. This feature has been available on BlackBerry and with Goodlink for sometime.

Apple has issued several security updates for Available for: Mac OS X v10.3.9, Mac OS X Server v10.3.9, Mac OS X v10.4.9, Mac OS X Server v10.4.9. These updates fix vulnerabilities that allow a local user to create files or execute commands with system privileges. This latest round of security updates also fixes a buffer overflow vulnerability in the AirPort Driver that will allow it to process control commands and trigger an overflow which may lead to arbitrary code execution with elevated privileges. Apple, Inc has announced an upgrade to its popular video editing suite with the introduction of Final Cut Studio 2. The refresh of Final Cut Studio includes Final Cut Pro 6, the newest version of its video editing software. Some of the new features in the software include the Open Format Timeline which lets you mix and match source material and even video clips with different frame rates, improved audio, and integration with a new application from Apple called Color. Apple Inc. has issued a press release stating that it will be pushing back the release date of OS 10.5 dubbed Leopard until October of this year. Apple has recently been focused on the Apple iPhone and meeting its June release date and has had to pull developers off of Leopard to focus on finalizing the Apple iPhone.
