InterConnect Time Tracker, an Employee Attendance Tracking system was designed to provide human resources
managers and employees a secure, reliable method to manage the employee's time
off by making requests submission and approval as streamlined and as secure as
possible. When an employee enters a new requests into the system, the employee
and the manager receive a time off notification with the details of the request. The
manager has the ability to review the request in the system and compare the
employee's request with other requests via the built in time off calendar.
The built in calendar system will allow the manager to see an overview of employees
who have scheduled time off during the same period. This calendar overview will
allow the manager to make a more informed decision and help avoid time off
scheduling conflicts. After the decision is made, the manager will be able to approve
the request, deny the request or ask for more input from the employee regarding their
request. Each of these actions will then notify the employee through the automated
email system that their request has been updated.
