Jim Watt is the co-founder and CEO of Dynamic Solutions Group, where he oversees all aspects of the business. With over 20 years of experience in various business IT solutions, including cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, network-wide threat assessments, unified communications, mobile workforce automation, and project management, Jim is well-equipped to run the company.

Before founding Dynamic Solutions Group, Jim served as the Director of IT for The Connelly Insurance Agency (CIG), where he implemented various automation projects, such as an agency-wide document management system, e-fax solution, and secure remote access. He was also responsible for the architecture, implementation, and management of MOON Communications’ network infrastructure, which carried critical patient medical records with a high level of security and fault tolerance.

Jim’s experience extends to DANKA Industries, where he served as the LAN Administrator for a large server farm. He developed, implemented, and maintained remote access solutions for DANKA’s mobile workforce, and was later promoted to Operations Manager for the entire Digital DANKA Division, where he oversaw the worldwide network connecting Digital DANKA Labs in various locations.

Jim has also served as an adjunct professor at Saint Petersburg College, teaching Microsoft Certified Curriculum on TCP/IP, Internet Information Server (IIS), and other Microsoft technologies. He holds several certifications, including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer + Internet (MCSE+I), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), Certified Meraki Network Administrator (CMNA), Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Novell Certified Netware Engineer (CNE), Certified SonicWALL Security Administrator (CSSA), Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC), Digium Switchvox Support Engineer (dSSE), Sophos Certified Engineer, and other vendor-specific certifications.

Jim is married and resides in Palm Harbor with his wife and four children. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he has been involved in various community organizations, including the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Ride and Run with the Stars Board. Jim has also supported several charities, including:
